Four of our club hurlers represented their families, club and County when they togged out for Ulster in an Under-16 interprovincial against Galway and a Connaught select side on Saturday past.

Paul Tourish, Ben Doherty (Roe), Dylan Duffy and Fiachra MacLochlainn deserve great credit for this achievement.  These young lads are fantastic role models for all our upcoming young players

 Buncrana Cup 2015

It’s full steam ahead for the Buncrana Cup this Saturday, 15th August, and Club Chair, Sean Clerkin, would like to thank those who volunteered their time over the last few weeks to get the pitch and grounds in good shape for this prestigious event.  Four Under-16 County squads, including Donegal, will take part in the semi-finals to be held in Burt and Muff.  All teams will descend on the Scarvey for the final and 3rd and 4th playoff.  Further details will be posted on our websitewwwbuncranagaa.ie and our social media sites.

 Summer Sessions

On 15th August the Club will be holding a “Summer Session”.  All members and especially parents/guardians are invited.  There will be Music, Dancing and Food available.  This is a perfect opportunity to meet and greet all our Parents and Members (Only €10 including food) (Strictly O18).

 Senior Hurling Championship

Our Senior Hurlers take on Burt on Saturday 15th August 2015 at 7.30 in Hibernia Park.  All support welcome.

 Senior Football

With Donegal’s unfortunate loss on Saturday it will be full steam ahead for club championship and league games.  Keep an eye on club social media for further updates which will be posted as the club receives them.

Junior A Ladies Championship

Congratulations to our Ladies in the first leg of the Championship against Naomh Muire.  The return leg takes place next Sunday, 16th August, at 11am in the Scarvey.  All support welcome.  Lots of sensible heads at next week’s Summer Sessions then!

 U21A Championship Football

U21 footballers play Aodh Ruadh at home on Tuesday, 11th August, at 7pm.  All support welcome.

 U14 Football

Buncrana take on Malin in the Division 2 quarter finals this Friday, 14th August.  No further details at present.

 U12 County Final

Good luck to Michael Junior and his Under-12 squad who take on St Eunan’s in O’Donnell Park on Saturday 15th August at 11am.

Ongoing Repairs/Maintenance Works

The Club is always looking for help with ongoing repairs/maintenance works.  If you have a skill that could be useful please volunteer your time if you can.  Contact Sean on 0862388071.

Lotto

This week’s lotto stands at €5625.  The Lotto numbers for last week were 8, 11, 15 and 16.  As there was no winner of the weekly draw, Ann Callaghan and Sinead & Justin Crawford were the monthly winners of the £250 open draw and club members’ draw respectively.  Congratulations!  If you can spare a Saturday evening in August the finance committee are looking for volunteers to sell lottos for one hour around the pubs.  Contact Colm on 0872211204.  If you see any of our volunteers around the pubs, please support by buying a lotto.

 Summer Camp

Our Summer Camp will run from 10th-14th August for 5 and 6 year olds and 17th-21st August for 6+.  The cost is €45 which includes a club jersey, shorts and socks.  If you require any further information, please contact your manager or Aidan on 0862762671.
