Voodoo Venue pledge support as Shauna McFadden heads for Denmark

LETTERKENNY CYCLIST SHAUNA MCFADDEN is off to Denmark today to guest for the Rytger Team in the Tour de Himmelfart in Denmark.

McFadden, a Junior Certificate student at Loreto Secondary School, is part of the Nicholas Roche Performance Team.

Jack Black, the proprietor of Voodoo Venue, has pledged his support in the form of sponsorship.

“We want to enable her to follow her cycling dreams making them a reality,” said Black.

“We’re proud of Shauna’s ambition determination and self belief. Our business are proud to be apart of.

“We wish her every success she has worked so hard as a 15-year old athlete. Voodoo Venue are delighted for 2016 to be one of Shauna’s key sponsors.

“This chance creates platforms for talented athletes like Shauna to springboard into the professional rank.

“Shauna will have it all to do as Danish racing is fierce and aggressive it this gutsy young Irish rider is a powerful pocket rocket – never afraid of anyone or anything. She has a winning attitude.”

Rytger Manager Brian Henriksen said: “I’ve been following McFadden’s progress from Denmark and tried to sign her a year ago but unfortunately that never materialised but we’re so delighted to guest her to the team for this event.”
