SHAUNA MCFADDEN WILL participate in the Tour de Himmelfart in Denmark for the Rytger team in May.
The Loreto Letterkenny Junior Cert student of part of the Nicholas Roche Performance Team since last year and has accepted an invitation to appear for Rytger, a Danish team at the event, which takes place from May 5-7.
The 16-year-old turned senior this year and in her first senior outing, McFadden finished second in the annual George Rooney Phoenix Grand Prix Sponsored by Portview Fit-out Ltd. on the Nutt’s Corner Circuit in Belfast.
She followed that up with a sixth place finish in Meath and then at the McCann Cup in Omagh in March, sealed her first senior win.
