The seniors defeated Downings in their last league match at home on Sunday. The lads overcame a 3 point interval deficit to emerge victorious on a full time score of Naomh Colmcille 2-14 3-7 Downings. Unfortunately a win for Letterkenny Gaels at home to Aodh Ruadh means the team finish in ninth place in the league. The lads now take on Carndonagh in a promotion / relegation playoff and need to win to preserve their Division 3 status.

The reserves fixture against Downings did not go ahead.

The Junior Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser will take place on Saturday 14th November at the Halfway House in Burnfoot. This should be a great event so mark the date in your calendar now! Tickets available from the dancers and committee members.

Thanks to everyone who attended the ‘Get to Know Your Club’ night on Wednesday.

The club AGM is scheduled for Thursday 26th November at 8:00 pm.
The minor board AGM is scheduled for Wednesday 18th November.

Naomh Colmcille CLG’s child welfare officer for 2015 is Breda Friel. If you or child have any issues through out year with coaches or bullying or other child issues please feel free to contact Breda on 0876393503 and she will try and address the issue. Everyone involved in coaching or helping out at underage level needs to have completed the child protection/awareness course. If you have not completed this course previously, please contact Breda ASAP.

This week’s numbers are 9, 11, 12, 14, 22 and the winners are Frankie Callaghan, Noah Reynor and Barney Robinson who win €25 each.

Naomh Colmcille CLG are in need of more lotto sellers. The lotto is the bread and butter of our club. If you don’t drive we can set up on a team with a driver. Please contact Breda Friel (0876393503) if anyone is willing to help. Thanks.

The Club would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support of the Lotto as it gives the club the essential means of continuing to give our local kids and adults the chance to avail of a great and healthy pastime.
