Letterkenny Rovers notes – Nine teams in action this weekend

This weekend the club will have no fewer than nine sides in action at all levels up to senior.

The weekend begins with the u12s Rovers side due to play Glencar at Leckview on Thursday evening at 630pm.

U14 action on Saturday sees Crusaders at Kilmacrennan Celtic at 1145am while Rovers host Bonagee United in Leckview at  1145am, TK McFeeley’s debut as u14 First division boss sees him taking his side to play Lurgy Celtic in a game which has been brought  forward to Saturday also at 130pm.

Our u16s travel west to face Keadue on Saturday at 2pm.

The Donegal Youth League side get up and running on Saturday also when they host Gweedore United at Leckview at 2pm in the first game of the season. We wish all the squad well in their quest to retain all four trophies  won last season.

Sunday sees our League of Ireland u19s play their first home league game when they play Dundalk at Leckview at 2pm while our USL side   need a win to qualify for the semi finals of the League Cup when they come up against Swilly Rovers at the Aura Centre. That game also kicks off at 2pm.

Our u12 Crusaders are away to Keadue with a 1015am kickoff on Sunday morning. Lets hope the alarm clocks are working for those involved!!

All managers are reminded that the PRO Kieran McGrath is to be texted with all results and scorers as soon as you can after games as it is now the PROs responsibility to submit results to the league and for our own information purposes.

As you can see we have quite a number of teams lining out and it costs money and to that end tickets are still being sold for our annual draw in conjunction with the FAI. Tickets cost ten euro and are available from any club member. All support is very much greatly appreciated.

Mini Lotto Numbers this week were 6-7-11-21

3 winners matched 3 and receive 25 euro;

Gerard O’Reilly, Seamus Doherty and Joe Dillon.

Next Weeks Jackpot is 2775 euro.

Bingo continues as usual in Station House Hotel on Thursday evenings at 830pm sharp.

Snowball this week is 1325 euro on 45 numbers or less while this Thursday ( Sept 10th) 500 euro has to be won on 11th game if snowball is not won.
