Adventure race goers really like their Bling so much so Kayathon.ie Ireland’s Adventure Race Magazine ran an online poll to award the country’s best adventure race medalĀ

In recent years Donegal has fast become the Adventure Capital of Ireland with races in every corner of this scenic county with WAAR the Wild Atlantic Adventure Race being the biggest in the County.

Donegal has recently been voted the best county to go Kayaking in, the Coolest place in the World and Donegal International Airport has been voted as having the second most scenic Runway in the World. It’s not everyone that gets to fly into this airport, however, the WAAR committee in conjunction with Donegal International Airport give competitors the unique opportunity to run on the Runway during the Adventure Race.

The WAAR cabinet are delighted to receive this award on the same day that they opened their online entries for WAAR.ie 2018 which is a fundraising event for CLG Naomh Muire happening in the Lower Rosses on May 12th 2018.

They wound like to thank their medal supplier Titan Sports for their professionalism and patience in helping them design the cool medal.

WAAR are also nominated for the best adventure race T-shirt award with voting starting on Monday.

Why not challenge yourself in 2018 and take advantage of their early bird price by signing up today on WAAR.ie
