TWO ERRIGAL CYCLING CLUB members excelled at the British Cycling UK Inter-Regional Road Championships in Nottingham over the weekend.

Conor Halvey from Letterkenny was 18th in the Street Sprint to help Ulster win in the team section of the event, edging out Yorkshire and Scotland.

The Ulster team saw Harvey Barnes (East Tyrone CC) win the event, while Adam Ward (Omagh Wheelers) finished 15th.

Shauna McFadden (pictured above) grabbed 14th place in the 55k Individual Road Race, sprinting with a group of 25 for second spot. She was the only girl to finish the race, and in the Street Sprint she  just missed out on a place in the A final, but won the B to take fifth place overall.
