Yvonne Bonner takes Giants’ Goal of the Year award

Yvonne Bonner has won the Greater Wester Sydney Swans’ Goal of the Year award.

The Glenfin woman made a fine impression in her first season in the AFLW with the Giants, having been snapped up following the Cross-Coders process.

And the Donegal star’s round three goal against Carlton has been named as the Goal of the Year.

However, there is bemusement that the goal was not among the nominations for the AFLW Goal of the Year.
