AFTER A FEW days of voting, the results have been tallied – and we can reveal who you’ve selected as the Anthony Conaghan Cars Player of the Championship from Donegal’s summer.

Ryan McHugh, who is tipped by many to win an All-Star this year, polled 69 per cent of the votes and was, by some distance, the winner.

At just 22,  McHugh – son of Donegal legend Martin McHugh – is an old head on young shoulders.

Scored three magnificent points against Tyrone in the Ulster final and palmed home a goal against Dublin last Saturday evening. Already, he is regarded as one of Rory Gallagher’s most prized assets.

But the scores only tell a miniscule part of the story of a player who has already been classed as a Rolls Royce.
