IN THE END, it came down to one vote!

On Monday, in the wake of Donegal’s 1-14 to 1-12 win over Mayo in the Allianz League Division 1 in Ballybofey, we opened a poll asked you who you thought was man of the match.

There were 447 votes cast and Paddy McGrath’s 184 pipped Ryan McHugh, who got 183, with Rory Kavanagh picking up 80.

Thanks to everyone who voted and we’ll have another one on Monday after Donegal’s fixture in Kerry.

The final results were:

  • Paddy McGrath (41%, 184 Votes)
  • Ryan McHugh (41%, 183 Votes)
  • Rory Kavanagh (18%, 80 Votes)
