World number ones prove too strong for Magees in Denmark

World number ones Siwei Zheng and Qingchen Chen proved too hot to handle for Chloe and Sam Magee this afternoon.

The Raphoe siblings bowed out of the Danisa Denmark Open following a 21-12 21-13 loss to the Chinese duo in Odense.

The Magees defeated Indonesians Pranaac Jerry Chopra and Sikki Reddy on Tuesday 21-17 21-15 to move into the second round.

But the draw was unkind to the Donegal pair, who missed out on a quarter-final berth following todays loss.
