Weigh-in: The scales are even between Duffy and Clarke

THERE IS NOTHING between Joseph Duffy and Mitch Clarke ahead of their lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 90 tomorrow night – on the scales at least.

Burtonport’s Duffy and Canadian Clarke square off in the octogon in a bout that opens up the main card at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Duffy is aiming to bounce back following a points decision loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 195 in January.

Clarke’s last bout was a loss to Michael Chiesa in Virginia last April.

Duffy is 14-2 going into the fight with Clarke 11-3.

The pair both tipped the scales at 155.5lbs, though the televised showing of the weigh-in was something of a make-up.

As per new regulations set out by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, all fighters competing in International Fight Week are permitted to weigh in through a two-hour period the day before their fight.
