With the many new rule changes in golf for 2019, Portsalon Golf Club is pleased to be hosting an information evening on Thursday 7th February from 7pm – 9pm in the Clubhouse.

This event is open to all member and will seek to update golfers on the new rules in a comfortable and relaxed setting.

We encourage as many members as possible to come along and join us on the night, as the event will be interactive and it should provide maximum information with plenty people on hand!

The Weather wins 2&1

Last week was a tough one in terms of harsh winter weather descending on Donegal, with first the frost and snow biting before wind and rain hit home over the weekend. It meant that competitive golf was at a premium.

Wednesday’s Gents Open was cancelled due coating of snow and underlying frost on the course. Play was also cancelled early on Saturday morning ahead of Winter Series getting underway. With heavy rain and wind battering the course, and forecasts for more of the same, the sensible decision was taken to postpone this prestigious event for a week.

Rescheduled Portsalon Winter Open Series

The Portsalon Winter Open Series, sponsored by Auto Fast Fit Letterkenny and Michelin Tyres, now takes place this Saturday, 2nd February. Timesheet in operation, contact the club on 074 91 59459 to reserve your place.
