ALTHOUGH all sporting activity has been shut down – that doesn’t have to mean complete inactivity.
Ciara Kearns, an Athletics Development Officer at Finn Valley AC, is encouraging ‘Little Athletes’ to stay active – and has set a competition as an incentive.
Ciara takes Little Athletes, the 5-7 year-olds through various activities in a video tutorial.
Parents are encouraged to take a picture of their child doing an activity from Ciara’s video and sent it to the Finn Valley Centre’s Facebook page or to comment under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/FinnValleyCentre/videos/522346718656407/
Five winners will be chosen to receive a kid-sized t-shirt like Ciara is wearing.
“Keep moving, guys,” Ciara said.
“All exercises can even be done indoors – except the skipping!”
The winners will be chosen in early April.
