Watch: In camp with Jason Quigley, Andy Lee and Paddy Donovan

JASON Quigley says that he wants to keep moving and improving under new coach Andy Lee.

Quigley featured in a behind-the-scenes interview with Boxing Social, filmed as he trained alongside fellow Irish pro Paddy Donovan in Dublin.

Quigley (18-1, 14KOs) switched to train under former World champion Lee last autumn following a defeat to Tureano Johnson. Lee had taken Donovan under his wing and the trio have struck up a partnership.

“Everything is going brilliantly and I’m enjoying every day,” Quigley said.

“I want to keep working, keep perfecting. I can see the improvements. It’s exciting.

“Every day it’s growing. Every day in the gym is getting better and better.”

Quigley has had two fights and two wins – both third round stoppages of Abraham Cordero and Fernando Marin – under Lee’s tutelage.

Lee said: “I know that I can improve him. He has improved, not hugely but by degrees. Jason has a lot to do in the game yet. People haven’t seen the best of him and I think he’s two fights away from a real breakout fight – and then his name will ringing around boxing again.”

Donovan (3-0, 2KOs) was due to be in action on the now-cancelled Michael Conlan bill in New York on Tuesday.

The Limerick man is enjoying life with Lee and Quigley.

He said: “It’s a privilege for me to be coached by Andy Lee. I couldn’t ask for any better. Jason is a tremendous fighter and a tremendous athlete.  He is such a talent. He’s a privilege to be around.”

Quigley believes that welterweight Donovan can ‘go the whole way’ in the sport.
