IT’S TIME to cast your vote for this week’s Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub Sports Person of the Week, in association with O’Reilly’s Sportswear.

Each weekly award winner will receive a kitbag, a jacket and a bobble hat, supplied by O’Reilly’s.

The award winner will be chosen via a public vote from a shortlist selected by our panel.

O’Reilly’s Sportswear was founded in 2017 by well-known Twin Towns sporting brothers Steven and Martin O’Reilly.

This week’s poll closes at noon on Friday – cast your vote! Please note that our voting system allows only one vote per IP address.

BJ Banda (Letterkenny Rovers)

ON Sunday, Letterkenny Rovers returned to winning ways in the bmcsports.ie Ulster Senior League with an emphatic 4-1 win over Fanad United. BJ Banda’s brilliant hat-trick paved the way. The former Finn Harps man bagged a treble to secure a precious three points.

Niamh Browne (Red Hughs)

SUNDAY was a red letter day in Burt. Red Hughs won their Minor League title thanks to a 3-11 to 2-12 win over Gaeil Fhánada at Hibernian Park. Niamh Browne kept her cool when she stood over a late penalty as she struck the match winner.

Keith Meehan (Raphoe Hockey Club)

RAPHOE earned their first League points of the new season with a 3-2 win over Newry Olympic on Saturday afternoon. Keith Meehan scored twice for Raphoe as they battled their way to a timely victory.

Peadar Mogan (St Naul’s)

ST Naul’s overcame Termon 0-14 to 1-7 on Saturday to win the Under-21 ‘B’ Championship title. Peadar Mogan was on fire for the Mountcharles men. Eight stunning points from Mogan formed the bulk of the highlights reel from the game as St Naul’s were celebrating.

Ryan Rainey (Bonagee United)

BONAGEE United reached the last 16 of the FAI Intermediate Cup and the first round of the FAI Senior Cup for the first time thanks to Saturday’s 3-0 win over Lakewood from the Munster Senior League. Ryan Rainey continued his excellent form for Bonagee. Rainey netted Bonagee’s second goal and turned in another super display for Jason Gibson’s team.
