Video: Jason Quigley dreaming of being a headline act one day

JASON QUIGLEY returns to Las Vegas next month for the ninth fight of his professional career – and the Ballybofey man dreams of being the headline act some day in ‘Sin City’.

The 24-year-old Ballybofey native is eight-from-eight since making his debut with an 80-second KO of Howard Reece at the MGM Grand in Vegas last July.

He is back in action on November 20 at Vegas’ Hard Rock Casino.

“When I fought there, there weren’t many people in the stadium, so my dream now is to fill that Arena with the Irish,” Quigley told Box Nation’s Kugan Cassius.

Quigley has won all eight of his bouts inside the scheduled distance.

He said: “I’ve never gone in there to look for a knockout. I was a very technical fighter as an amateur. I picked my shots, moved, everything like that. It was about scoring your points and getting out of there.

“Now, fights go six, eight, ten, twelve rounds so you need to break the opponent down and work the body from day one.”
