After last Sunday’s 2-0 win over Ringmahon Rangers sealed a first ever appearance in the FAI Intermediate Cup, yesterday the side managed by Eamon McConigley reached the second round of the FAI Senior Cup for the first time.
The 2-1 victory over Portmarnock means that Rovers are in the hat for tomorrow’s draw with the SSE Airtricity League sides.
