Video: Everton’s Seamus Coleman on his love for Killybegs GAA club

SEAMUS COLEMAN was a talented GAA player before his soccer career went into orbit.

But the Everton full-back (pictured above courtesy of Killybegs GAA) hasn’t forgotten his roots and was present at Fintra – the home of his local Killybegs club – in the summer to train with the local youngsters.

And it’s a place the Republic of Ireland international can see himself playing again.

“There’s nothing I’m looking forward to more than coming home and every Tuesday and Thursday evening going over to the pitch and playing with the lads again,” he told RTE’s Thank GAA It’s Friday, which will be broadcast tonight at 9:30pm on RTE2.

Here’s the teaser courtesy of The Sunday Game’s facebook.
