Two Donegal men included on Cabinteely squad for 2019 season

League of Ireland First Division side Cabinteely have included two Donegal men in their ranks for the 2019 season.

Newtowncunningham native Oisin McMenamin and Jonny Carlin from Killygordon are among a 30-man panel confirmed by the club today.

Left-back Carlin signed for the club from current Donegal League Premier Division champions Kildrum Tigers last week.

Carlin was an integral part of the Tigers squad that won a League and Cup double last year, scoring a last-gasp equaliser against Brian McCormick Cup final against Kilmacrennan Celtic.

All-rounder Carlin has also starred for Red Hughs, whom he helped to Donegal and Ulster JFC titles and has hurled for Setanta.

McMenamin played for Fanad United in the 2017/18 Ulster Senior League season, but left the club last summer.

McMenamin had two spells at Finn Harps, but didn’t feature on the pitch during his last stint at Finn Park in 2015.

McMenamin has also played for Kildrum Tigers, Rathmullan Celtic and Letterkenny Rovers.
