BOOKMAKERS, WE’RE TOLD, don’t live in tents.

On Sunday at MacCumhaill Park though, Glenswilly – bizarrely 5/1 or 6/1 outsiders – showed their championship pedigree to win the Donegal SFC for the third time in six seasons.

Here’s what the world of Twitter made of it as some of the bookmakers head for the campsite:

Michael Murphy is the greatest footballer ever to come out of Donegal. Glenswilly are blessed to have him

Congrats to Glenswilly, if anyone told you the glen men would’ve won this at the start of the campaign youdve laughed them off, superb stuff

Michael Murphy was Man of the Match in all 3 county finals which Glenswilly have won. Damn ! @officialdonegal

I see my big mate Murphy was at his usual lark yesterday again causing complete havoc for the Kilcar backs #hero #glenswilly #donegalgaa

Hard luck lads things just did not go our way today you have done us proud all season & thanks to the massive support from our fans today.

Football is a simple game really. Big Neil with high long ball into Murphy and the outcome is inevitable….
Kilcar rattled here….

Half Time summary: Murphy, Gallagher, long ball, Kilcar nerves, Glenswilly shape.

Any order or combo of the above is the tale of the tape.

Looks like no one told @GaaGlenswilly they were meant to get hammered today. #DonegalCountyFinal #kilcar #glenswilly

Not a great day for the #DonegalSFC Hope Kilcar do the biz now and end an over 20 year wait! ? pic.twitter.com/FEPh5NchbD
