It’s time to cast your vote for this week’s Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub Sports Person of the Week, in association with O’Reilly’s.

Each weekly award winner will receive a kitbag, a jacket and a bobble hat, supplied by O’Reilly’s.

The award winner will be chosen via a public vote from a shortlist selected by our panel.

O’Reilly’s Sportswear was founded in 2017 by well-known Twin Towns sporting brothers Steven and Martin O’Reilly.

Our poll closes at noon on Thursday.

Jamie Brennan (Donegal)

Donegal had the edge on Fermanagh in a sometimes tense Ulster SFC game in Brewster Park. Brennan was named Man of the Match as Donegal pulled away from the Erne to take a 0-15 to 0-9 win. The Bundoran man has firmly established himself as one of Declan Bonner’s leading lights and helped himself to four points.

Dylan Browne-McMonagle (Letterkenny)

Dylan Browne-McMonagle continued his magnificent run of form on Sunday in Carrickadawson.

The Letterkenny jockey recorded a four-timer with wins on board Unhinged, Five Stone of Lead, Athea Jade and Ya Skitter.

Ellie Long (Carndonagh Community School)

Carndonagh CS continued their winning ways at national level last week. Carn overcame Presentation SS from Wexford 3-2 at Oriel Park in the FAI Schools First Year Girls National Cup final

AET Presentation SS from Wexford.

Ellie Long bagged a brace of goals for Carn in the memorable win.

Cathal McGettigan (Milford)

Cathal McGettigan was on fire for Milford at Moyle Park on Saturday evening. In a relegation four-pointer, McGettigan notched up three goals and five points as Milford overcame fellow strugglers Sean MacCumhaills.

Adam Neely (Keadue Rovers)

Keadue Rovers were back toasting silverware on Sunday. Keadue overcame Milford United in the Brian McCormick Cup final at the Diamond Park. Cory Gallagher had cancelled out Kyle Black’s opener, but a cracking strike by Adam Neely secured a famous win for Keadue – who are just after completing their first season back in the top flight.

Andrew Peoples (Greencastle Reserves)

What a season it has been for Greencastle. On Sunday, the club’s reserve team maintained the glorious run. A 4-2 extra-time win over Clonmany Reserves saw them win the Division 2A play-off at Maginn Park. Andrew Peoples was the hat-trick hero for the Chapel Lane side.
