Time change to Termon-Gaoth Dobhair Championship games

THERE HAS been a time change to Saturday evening’s Michael Murphy Sports Donegal SFC game between Termon and Gaoth Dobhair at the Burn Road.

The game will now throw in at 5.30pm with the reserve game taking place at 4pm.

The change is in order to avoid a clash with the anniversary Mass of former Termon player Andrew Duffy, which takes place at 7pm in St Columba’s Church, Termon.

Duffy was just 24 when he died after slipping into the Royal Canal at Binn’s Bridge at Phibsboro, Dublin on the night of Donegal’s All-Ireland semi-final win over Cork on August 26, 2012.

“The Termon club is very grateful to Gaoth Dobhair for agreeing the time change for Saturday’s game,” Hugh Harkin, a member of the Termon management, said.
