DONEGAL hurlers have been drawn in a group of three in the 2021 Nickey Rackard Cup.

Donegal, the defending Rackard Cup winners, will faced Mayo and Leitrim in this year’s competition.

There is one two-team group containing Armagh and Tyrone.

The draws were conducted yesterday evening.

The group will be played in Round Robin format and each team will have one home and one away game with the top two teams qualifying for the semi-finals and the third placed team playing in the quarter-final.

The winner of the Nickey Rackard Cup will be promoted to the Christy Ring Cup for 2022.

Donegal defeated Mayo 3-18 to 0-21 in November’s final at Croke Park.

After an earlier goal by Joe Boyle, the Tir Chonaill men hit two goals in a 30-second blitz, from Davin Flynn and Ritchie Ryan, to claim the prize.
