Donegal is well represented in appointments made by new GAA President John Horan.

Horan has appointed Sean Dunnion, Niall Erskine and Grace Boyle to roles in committees.

Horgan hasĀ  the power to appoint chairpersons to head up various committees to run alongside his three-year term.

Four Masters’ Dunnion has been appointed as Chairperson of the IT Committee and Killybegs’ Erskine has been selected to oversee the World GAA Committee.

Some of the committees were ratified at the weekend’s GAA Congress.

Termon’s Boyle, a former Donegal GAA Treasurer, was ratified on the Audit committee. Boyle received an invitation last week from Horan and accepted the role.

Others from the county could follow with a raft of committees yet to be finalised.

Former Kilkenny county board chairman and secretary Ned Quinn has been chosen to head up the high powered Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC), while Matt Shaw from Westmeath is in charge of the Central Hearings Committee and Meath man Brian Rennick leads the Central Appeals Committee.
