The Letterkenny Shotokan Karate Club recently held a Dan Grading (Black Belt) yesterday in the Aura Leisure Centre.
The Club would like to congratulate 17-year-old Lucy Parke and returning students Brian McGlynn and Damien McGlynn on the hard work and effort they put into their training over the last year and a half, demonstrating the Kihon, Kumite and Kata Skills they have attained over the many years training which aided them to obtain their Shodan Grade (Black Belt) on Saturday.
The club will hold a Kyu Grading on Saturday the 9th of June at 12noon for beginners to 1st Kyu grade. Fee €25 (includes belt) Licence required to grade.
