TEAM DONEGAL OIL hosted a get-together last Friday evening in Arena 7.
Sean McFadden, Arthur McMahon, Michael McGarvey and Gavin Harris, who teamed up under the ‘Team Donegal Oil’ brand presented proceeds from their ‘Race Around Ireland’ earlier this month to their chosen charities.
“We are delighted to present just over €6,000 to the hard-working local Autism Support Group, who do much for families who have children with Autism,” said McMahon.
“We are also delighted to give some of our proceeds to ‘The Mark Anderson Budapest Fund’,” and continued to thank everyone, his team members, their crew, their families and friends for their support.
“We are proud to have taken part in the ‘Race Around Ireland’ as part of ‘Team Donegal Oil’ says Sean and we are already looking forward to the next challenge,” added McGarvey.
Team Donegal Oil came third in their team relay cycle and completed the ‘Race around Ireland’ in just four days. McMahon also thanked Enda Nicholls of Arena 7 for his support and for providing the venue for their get together.
The keen athletes and cyclists McFadden, McMahon, McGarvey and Harris are already planning and plotting their next challenge, so watch this space!
