Letterkenny swimming star Anna Hennessy is our latest Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub Sports Person of the Week, in association with O’Reilly’s.
In this week’s poll, Anna claimed 811 votes – some 44 per cent of the total cast.
Anna beat off competition from the likes of Glengad United’s Terence Doherty and Convoy ABC’’s Bryan McNamee to win.
Anna was in the headlines after a glorious assault in the Swim Ulster Open Disability Championships.
The popular 19-year-old won a gold, two silver and a bronze medal at the Championships in Newy.
Each weekly award winner will receive a kitbag, a jacket and a bobble hat, supplied by O’Reilly’s.
The award winners are chosen via a public vote from a shortlist selected by our panel.
