THERE IS PLENTY OF Donegal interest in tomorrow morning’s Corn na Mac Léinn final at Jordanstown.

Marino Institite of Education are facing Ulster University Magee in the final at 11 o’clock, a game that starts a big day of colleges’ action on the Shore Road, culminating in the Sigerson Cup final at 2.30pm.

Marino hammered the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland 3-14 to 0-4 with Naomh Colmcille’s Michael Friel in the half-back line.

Friel was to the fore as Martino ran riot with Roscommon’s Ciarán Murtagh scoring 1-6 and Carlow’s Jack Murphy bagging two second half goals.

Marino led 0-7 to 0-2 at half-time and upped the ante in the second half.

Friel is set to be in action again in the final while Stephen Mulligan (Sean MacCumhaills), Eamonn Carr (Gaeil Fhánada), Darragh McGee (Dungloe) and Antoin Travers (Ardara) also included in the Marino panel.

Robert Emmets wing-back Aaron Dalton and Dungloe full-back Ryan Rodgers played for Ulster University Magee in their 4-9 to 1-12 win over North West Regional College in their semi-final.

Captain Ronan Hanna scored two goals with Lee Martin and Conor McErlain also on target.

St Eunan’s Lee McMonagle netted the NWRC goal, with Christopher Carr (St Michael’s), Peter McLaughlin (Buncrana), Kevin Tracey (Buncrana) and Ryan (Doherty) on the team.
