IT’S ALMOST THAT TIME of year again – the 46th annual Primary Schools Athletics Challenge will take place on May 11th at Finn Valley AC in Stranorlar.

The event began in 1970 at Sean MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey and has become one of the most popular events in the local athletics calendar.

Invites are extended to all the primary schools in Donegal to once again – on their return from the Easter break – to engage in the highly successful primary school athletics challenge.

Schools over many years have been very responsive and interest continues to develop with 100 schools involved whether at regional or county level in 2015. The Finn Valley schools area/ East Donegal gets matters rolling on two separate days April 26th/27th with the All-County finals on May 11th.

An exciting few days awaits and the Event Director is Patsy McGonagle, who can be contacted via email at patsymcgonagle@hotmail.com
