St Michael’s notes – Seniors and Reserves in Championship last eight ties on Sunday

The Quarter Finals of the Senior Championship takes place on this Sunday in O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny. The Reserves meet Four Masters at 1.00pm and the Seniors take on Malin at 2.30pm.

Good luck to both teams.

All County League

Both seniors and reserves were away to Dungloe on Sunday last.

The seniors recorded a good victory winning on a scoreline of Dungloe 0-9 St. Michael’s 1-10.  The St. Michael’s scorers were: Andrew Kelly 0-3, Ciaran Gallagher 1-0, Christy Toye 0-2, and Liam Paul Ferry, Martin McElhinney, Daniel McLaughlin, Michael Cannon and Colm McFadden 0-1 each. Our reserves won on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 2-12 Dungloe 1-7.  It was a tough game to win with a good team performance and Keelan McGee, Denis Trearty and Barry McGinley playing well.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto €5700 this week

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last; The numbers drawn were 4,5,7,8,11,12.  There were 19 4 Match no 5 winners. 28 people matched 4 and their names were drawn; the winner of the €100 was Vincent Greer Hornhead Road.  This weeks Jackpot be €5700. The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.   

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

Drive Home in Style From The Bingo in Creeslough

You could win a car on every game every Sunday night at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough by winning a house on 45 nos or less.  Check on 45 Numbers or less with the magic number in the panel and the lucky number drawn in the first five numbers of that game, you win the car or €10,000.

 The normal Snowball is also in place every night. The Magic Number from 1 to 90 is drawn out every Sunday night before the bingo begins.  In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €5700.  Congratulations to Grace Coll Chapel Road Dunfanaghy who won the Monthly Draw for the Television on Sunday night last.  The Club would like to thank everyone who supported this draw over the past few months.

The single book is €8 and special offer for this Sunday night the 13th September only Double Book only €10, both books include snowball page. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre. The €150 on the snowball game at the Bingo session on Sunday night last was won by Tommy Gallagher Fanmore.  The winner of the Door Prize was Hugo Brooker UK who took a Bingo Book and a Lotto Ticket.  This weeks Snowball will be €1020.

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

Smashing Time

Anyone with any old crockery/ cracked cups should leave them at the Portacabin in Creeslough as they will be needed for our annual Sports Day.

Registrations

All players must be registered to take part in training or play games.  To registrar contact your manager or Suzi Roarty on 087 2849214.

Cup/Mugs

Thank you to all those who donated cups and mugs which is greatly appreciated, however we could still do with more donations please.

Under 12’s

Training will now run on a Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7.00pm at the Bridge.

Bus leaves Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus.  Gumshields essential. Some more challenge games will be planned.

Under 13’s

The under 13’s kicked off to a good start to the season beating Cloughaneely, they went in at half time 3 points down but fought back in the second half to win.

Under 14’s

The Under 14’s are playing Cloughaneely on Wednesday evening in the Division 3 final.

Under 16’s

The under 16’s possibly play Urris in the quarter final on this Friday evening at a neutral venue.
