ST EUNAN’S had 18 points to spare in a one-sides Under-21 ‘A’ quarter-final at Fr Tierney Park.

Aodh Ruadh 0-8 St Eunan’s 3-17

Eoin McGeehin (pictured), Kevin Kealy and Peter McEniff hit the goals as St Eunan’s eased their way into the semi-finals.

After Eoin Doherty and Padraig McGettigan swapped early scores, McGeehin fired to the net after a slick St Eunan’s move after only 10 minutes.

When Kealy palmed to the net, St Eunan’s were rampant. Brian MacIntyre and McGeehin kicked points to open a 2-5 to 0-3 lead in the 20th minute.

The Cathedral Town side added a third goal when McEniff drove through the centre to fire home a clinical effort past Sean Taylor.

It was a long way back for Aodh Ruadh and St Eunan’s kept the board ticking with Conor O’Donnell, Aaron Deeney, McGeehin, MacIntyre and McEniff all pointing.
