THERE was a good turnout this evening at O’Donnell Park for the memorial match for the late Gary Doyle.

St Eunan’s won three County Minor Football Championship titles from 1993 to 1995 and those who played in this teams were back in Letterkenny this evening.

Gary Doyle played in the 1993 and 1994 teams  but tragically died in 2005. He would’ve turned 39 today. Gary is survived by his parents Denis and Patty and his brother Paul, who played today.

This evening, the 1993 and 1994 team “drew” 1-9 to 1-7 with the 1995 select – a result that meant everyone left happy.
