Well done to the U-16 boys footballers who defeated Letterkenny Gaels 3-6 to 1-6 in Monday’s championship game and made it three wins from three games in their group.

Our U-14 boys football team (pictured below) play in the County Final against Gaoth Dobhair this evening, Wednesday, September 2nd at 6.30pm in Convoy.  Best of luck to all the players and management.

St Eunan's Under-14

The Senior Footballers qualified for the Championship quarter finals with a 0-14 to 1-06 win over Dungloe while the Reserves defeated the same opposition 2-12 to 0-05.  Kevin Grant got both goals for the Reserves.  Both teams were drawn to face Glenswilly in their respective quarter finals in two weeks time.

We host the Ulster Óg Sport Gael (U-15) 7-a-side football finals in O’Donnell Park this Saturday, September 5th. Games begin at 10am, with the final scheduled for 2pm, and will feature all nine county champions from Ulster. Any members willing to help out are asked to be at the Park at 9am on Saturday.

The U-16 girls footballers are away to Glenswilly this evening, Tuesday 1st at 7pm.

The U-16 hurlers reached the county league semi final with their win over Mac Cumhaill’s, eventually pulling away after a tight first half. They play away to Burt this Thursday with throw in at 6.30pm. All support welcome.

The U-13 girls football team had a great away win at Glenswilly in their first Championship game over the weekend. Training is on Thursday at 6pm and next match for the girls is an away fixture in Convoy, this Saturday.

The U-12 Hurling Finals are on Thursday evening, venue and opposition TBC.

U-16 hurling training continues on Tuesdays at 5pm and U-12 training also Tuesday at 5.30pm.  New hurlers always welcome.

Congratulations to our club hurlers who featured on the county hurling development teams last weekend. The U-16 team reached the All Ireland ‘B’ final for the first time ever.

The U-14 team, managed by Gordon Randles reached the All Ireland ‘B’ semi final again for the first time and the U-15 team, playing in the U-16 ‘C’ tournament missed out on taking National honours, losing by one point.  All the teams were well represented by St. Eunan’s hurlers.  Congratulations to everyone involved from our Club.

Well done also to the Eunan’s girls on the Donegal U-14 camogie team who retained their Ulster Div. 4 title at the weekend defeating Monaghan in the final.

Congratulations to club captain Rory Kavanagh who was part of the Donegal Boston team who won their Senior championship at the weekend.

The Hurling Academy continues on Fridays at 6.30pm while the Century Cinemas Football Academy is on Sundays at 11am.  New members are always welcome to both academies.  For more information, please contact Ciaran Maguire, 087 4133372, Eugene Duffy, 086 8430240 or Eunan O’Donnell 087 6775637.

The St. Eunan’s ‘Come Dine with Me’ will take place on Halloween night, Sat. 31st October.  Full details will be circulated by club email and also available on the Club Facebook page.  A great evening’s entertainment is promised in what is always a great social occasion for our Club.

The Clubhouse at O’Donnell Park is now available to book for parties, functions, etc.  Contact Niall on 086-3062893 for further information/bookings.

Fixtures and results are available via the links on the Club website homepage.  Any amendments to fixtures etc. will be noted on the club Facebook Page as soon as confirmation is received.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the Thornton family on their recent bereavement.

This week’s winning lotto numbers were 8,18,21,23.

Marty McCarron (direct debit) matched 3 numbers and wins €100.

Next week’s jackpot is €1600.
