CONGRATULATIONS to club and county star Naomi McMenamin who was awarded Donegal Minor player of the year at the County Awards Presentation function last weekend.

A fantastic achievement and fully deserved award for Naomi.

Glac a chlub pairt i mbabhta leath cheannais Scór na nÓg i nGort a’ Choirce ag an deireadh seachtaine agus comhghairdeas le Amy Ní Chléirigh a bhain san amhránaíocht aonair, agus agus ghrúpa ceol uirlise agus na rinceoirí a bhain a gcuid comórtaisí.

Bhí mí-ádh ar an fhoireann a glac páirt a dTráth na gCeist nuair a chaill siad amach agus iad gan ach marc amháin ar chúl na buaiteoirí. Beidh CLG Naomh Adhamhnáin ag glacadh páirt anois i mbabhta ceannais na contae de Scór na nÓg i nGleann Fhinne i Rince Foirne, Amhránaíocht Aonair agus Ceol Uirlise ar an Aoine seo an 13ú Samhain. Beidh an chomórtas ag toiseacht ag 7.00i.n. agus ba dheas da mbeadh slua maith ó’n chlub i láthair le tacaíocht a thabhairt do na hiomaitheoirí. Go néirigh go geal leo.

Best of luck to our U-21 football team as they play Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon in the County semi-final this weekend, details tbc.

Good luck also to the U-16 boys footballers who take on Dromore in their Ulster fixture on Saturday.  The game takes place in Dromore, Co. Tyrone at 2pm.

The Senior footballers finished their Div.1 campaign with a defeat away at League champions St. Michael’s.

Hard luck to the U-13 boys footballers who came up short against a strong Termon team in the county final on Saturday.

Preparations are now in full swing for the ‘Come Dine With Me’ club fundraising event on Saturday, November 21st.  Full details are available from Alma Kavanagh (087 695 2551), John Haran (086 213 3522) or Niall Doherty (086 306 2893).  Please contact any of the aforementioned to register your participation as soon as possible.

The annual Mass for deceased members will take place in the clubhouse next Tuesday, November 17th at 7.30pm.

The club will be adding more teams in Camogie for next year.  Any coaches or parents wishing to come on board please contact Joe Kealy on 087 2446070 or Paddy Flood on 086 1082288.
