CONGRATULATIONSÂ to Trainer Jim Clarke and club players Ciaran Kelly, Sean Halvey, Brian MacIntyre, Niall O’Donnell, Matthew Gallagher and Kevin Grant who were all part of the Donegal Under-17 Jim McGuigan Cup winning team over the weekend.

Well done to the Under-14 boys football team who defeated Ardara in the County semi final on Monday evening.  They now move on to play Gaoth Dobhair in the County Final on Wednesday, September 2nd, details tbc.
The Senior footballers were defeated by Naomh Conaill in the Championship, going down by 2-12 to 0-08. Â The Reserves had a hugely impressive 1-14 to 0-05 win over the same opposition, with Conall O’Boyle the goalscorer. Â Both teams face must win games at home to Dungloe in their final group games this weekend.
The Junior footballers defeated St. Mary’s, Convoy in the Junior B Championship quarter final with a fine team display, winning 1-19 to 1-10, the goal scored by Matthew McColgan.
The Under-16 footballers make the short trip to face Letterkenny Gaels in their third Championship game next Monday, August 31st.
Under-13 girls football training is on Thursday from 6pm to 7.15pm.  The girls travel to play neighbours Glenswilly this Saturday morning and are asked to meet at Glenswilly grounds at 10.45am for throw in at 11.30am.
Well done to the under-11 boys footballers who performed brilliantly in their blitz in Claudy, Co. Derry over the weekend.
Hard luck to our players and mentors on the Donegal Senior Ladies team who were narrowly defeated by Armagh in the All Ireland quarter final on Saturday.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the Glackin family, Barrack, Newmills on the death of Mr. Finbar Glackin, a hugely popular GAA man who was a life member of St. Eunan’s GAA Club and a stalwart of his home club, Glenswilly.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
