St Eunan’s get SHC campaign up and running with victory over MacCumhaill’s

St Eunan’s ran out winners against MacCumhaill’s on a 1-12 to 1-8 scoreline in their opening fixture of the Donegal SHC in Letterkenny this afternoon.

Sean McVeigh scored four points for the side from the Cathedral Town in the four-point win, with MacCumhaill’s having been in a 0-6 to 0-4 lead at the break. Both teams managed goals in the second half with Cian Randles on target for the home team and Ciaran Matthewson the MacCumhaill’s goalscorer.

St. Eunan’s: Sean McVeigh 0-4, Conor O’Grady 0-4 frees, Cian Randles 1-1, Kevin Kealy 0-3.
MacCumhaills: Ciaran Matthewson 1-3, 1-2 frees; Lee Henderson 0-3, 0-2 frees; Dean Hannigan 0-1; Sean Curran 0-1.
