St Eunan’s club notes – Under-21s advance, but Under-13s lose Northern final

WELL DONE TO the St Eunan’s Under-21 footballers who defeated Termon in the Championship quarter final on Monday.

Sean Hume scored 1-10 as the boys began the defence of their title with a 1-16 to 1-05 victory.  We have been drawn to face Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon in the semi finals, details tbc.
There will be a general club meeting in the Clubhouse this Thursday, October 29th at 8pm.  All club members are welcome.
The Seniors were defeated by Dungloe in their penultimate league game while the Reserves had no game.
Congratulations to our Junior Footballers who added the Division 5 league title to the Junior B Championship win to complete the double for the season.
Well done to John Coleman, his backroom team and all the players on a hugely successful season.
Hard luck to the Under-13 boys football team who were defeated by Termon on Sunday despite leading for long periods and playing some exceptional football.  The boys will now face Naomh Conaill or Ardara in the county semi final.
Well done to our Under-12 and Under-14 boys football teams who won the James Gallagher and Benny Carr memorial matches respectively on Bank Holiday Monday.  Thanks also to everyone who helped out on Monday and also during the Intermediate Finals on Sunday.
The ‘Come Dine With Me’ event will go ahead on Saturday, November 21st.  Full details will issue to all members shortly.

The Hurling Academy is currently on a break but will return in November, indoors at the Aura Leisure Centre.  Full details to follow.
