SION SWIFTS LADIES have snapped up two young Donegal players ahead of their new season.

Sion play in the Northern Ireland Women’s League and have recently added Fintown’s Amy Boyle-Carr and Letterkenny’s Lauren Harper to their ranks.

Boyle-Carr (pictured above) is a Republic of Ireland Under-17 international, who joins Sion from Donegal Town FC, where she starred in the Donegal Women’s League.

Boyle-Carr has played at Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 level for Ireland.

“Amy brings massive potential as an attacking force to our club,” Sion said in announcing the player’s signing.

Harper (below) is another attack-minded player from Donegal to put pen to paper at Sion.

The 21-year-old played all through underage and into senior level with Lagan Harps.

Harper also turned out for Ireland at Under-15 and Under-17 levels.

Sion said: “Lauren is an exciting attacking player who will add to the goal threat for Swifts as we look to improve on our league position this season.”
