‘Shut the F**k up!’ – Kevin Cassidy hits back at David Brady over ‘piss ups’ comment

Former Mayo star David Brady has been criticised for his ‘piss ups’ comments made following Gaoth Dohbair narrow loss to Corofin on Saturday.

The reigning champs won 2-13 to 1-12 and will meet Kerry and Munster champs Dr. Crokes in the final, on St Patrick’s weekend at Croke Park.

As Gaoth Dobhair earned plaudits from around the country, Brady took to Twitter on Saturday night to take aim at them for their partying, post-Ulster, something he feels hindered their preparations.

They will when the dust settles & time passes in a quiet moment ask did they pass up the opportunity of a lifetime..Was there anything they could have done extra..Posting Multiple piss ups won’t win you All Ire & that’s not what winning is about..

To say It went down like a lead balloon would be an understatement and 400 responses later, among them were some of the Gaoth Dobhair players.

Kevin Cassidy, in typical Cassidy fashion, didn’t mince his words.

They will when the dust settles & time passes in a quiet moment ask did they pass up the opportunity of a lifetime..Was there anything they could have done extra..Posting Multiple piss ups won’t win you All Ire & that’s not what winning is about..

While teammate Eamon McGee took a restrained approach to the tweet.

Neil McGee also replied diplomatically.
