Shay Óg Murrin helps Faughanvale to Derry Junior Football Championship

THERE WERE CELEBRATIONS in south-west Donegal today as Faughanvale won the Premier Electrics Derry Junior Football Championship.

Shay Óg Murrin from Killybegs coaches the team from Greysteel and this evening at the Derry GAA Centre of Excellence at Owenbeg, Faughanvale overcame Drum 2-9 to 1-5 to win the competition for the first time since 1999.
