Unbeaten Sean McGoldrick has a home fight in Wales this evening as he faces Moises Mojica in Cardiff.
McGoldrick (8-0, 2KOs) is part of a massive show at the Vale Sports Arena, live on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and also live on iFL TV, and he thinks the fans in attendance will get their money’s worth.
Bantamweight McGoldrick, whose father Liam is originally from Ballyshannon, defeated Sean Cairns at the Copper Box Arena in London in March, on the same card that has Jason Quigley’s win over Mathias Eklund.
“I’m buzzing to be involved in this great show,” McGoldrick says ahead of his meeting with Mojica (9-6-2) I hope everyone comes out and supports it because it’s a fantastic show with some really good talent on there.
“I’m excited to watch the card, let alone be part of it, so the Welsh fans are in for a treat.
“Hopefully everyone comes down to support the show, as without the fans these shows can’t get put on. It’s going to be a brilliant night of action and I’m looking to make a statement that gets myself in the mix.”
McGoldrick made his pro debut in 2017 and is now trained by Jamie Moore.
He said: “I want to be pushing on for titles after this fight. I’m fully focused on producing a good performance on Saturday and then targeting big things after that.”
