Once again, the Sean Davis Summer Soccer School proved it’s popularity with almost 100 kids taking part in the four day coaching course by former Manchester United, Middlesborough and Sligo Rovers player Sean Davis.
Sean, one of the most respected coaches in Ireland, holding full FAI, IFA and European Coaching badges at all levels, followed on from his successful Easter programme at Drumbar F.C. by fulfilling a promise of returning again in the summer.
As can be seen from the photograph, all ages, from five to 15, both boys and girls, took part in the week long sessions of dribbling, heading, passing, shooting and of course the ever popular penalty king/queen, player of the week, best newcomer, best goalkeeper, best under age etc. etc.
Sean, who has been coaching now for over 30 years on both sides of the border, takes his coaching school to Ballina and Belmullet in the West of ireland next week before returning to Templemore Sports Complex in his native city of Derry.
