RORY KAVANAGH WILL be on the road on Saturday, where he will be signing copies of his recently released autobiography ‘Winning.’

Kavanagh will be at Novel Ideas in Ballyshannon at 12 noon, the Four Masters Bookshop in Donegal town at 2pm and then the Book Centre, Ballybofey, at 4:30pm.

Donegal Sport Hub has been fortunate enough to serialise extracts from the 2012 All-Ireland winning midfielder’s recollections.

Kavanagh describes in minute detail how Jim McGuinness deciphered Dublin ahead of the 2014 All-Ireland semi-final when Donegal overcame the so-called ‘unbeatables’ at Croke Park.

On a lighter note, the St Eunan’s clubman gives some anecdotes into life as a Donegal footballer for 13 years, including this very amusing tale about the lengths he and Eamon McGee once went to get a night out.

‘Winning – How Donegal changed the game forever’ is available to buy in Letterkenny at Eason’s, Evolve Menswear, Clarke’s Newsagents, Macs Mace, Dry Arch Filling Station and at the Oldtown Shop. It is also available throughout the county and nationally at Eason’s and all good book stores and can be purchased on Amazon.

Ghost-written by Liam Hayes, an All-Ireland winner with Meath in 1987 and 1988, with Alan Foley of Donegal Sport Hub as researcher, Kavanagh’s autobiography is printed by Hero Books. It costs €17.99.
