Drumoghill started the second half well and added goal number four through Mark Gibson after John Maddigan played a lovely ball in behind the Donegal defence. Goal number five arrived two minutes later when Liam O’ Donnell chipped the keeper after a great solo run from mid-field.
Drumoghill seemed to switch off after this and Donegal got right back into the game with two quick goals from Ted Bustard to give his team a fighting chance. Donegal where now pushing for every ball and got their third goal when Gary Ward reacted well to a loose ball in the Drumoghill box to slot home with ten minutes remaining. Ward was again on the mark in the ninetieth minute from a corner kick slotting home a loose ball at the back post. Good team performances from both teams.
