THE DONEGAL COMPETITIONS Controls Committee have announced the referees for next Sunday’s Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Senior and Senior B Championship finals.
Both finals will be under the watch of an Inishowen man in black.
Malin referee Shaun McLaughlin will take charge of the senior final between Glenswilly and Kilcar, while Shaun Paul Doherty from the Urris club will be in the middle for the Senior B clash of St Eunan’s and Gaoth Dobhair.
McLaughlin previously refereed the county final in 2010 when Naomh Conaill overcame Killybegs.
The Malin official has been part of the national panel and often features at inter-county games across the country.
The announcements on the appointments of the referees were made at a briefing this morning at the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey.
