A 14-year-old Donegal girl made history at Letterkenny Golf Club last week.
Rathmullan schoolgirl Sarah McBrearty, a Junior member at Letterkenny Golf Club, won a Ladies Club Competition with a remarkable score.

McBrearty carded a stunning 50 points on her way to winning the McFadden’s Chemist-sponsored competition.
McFadden was in blistering form during the game and her record-breaking round goes into the history books.
“We in the Ladies Club were delighted when Sarah came in with such a great score to make club history,” Letterkenny Golf Club’s Lady Captain, Mary Fowley, said.
“Any of the other scores from the top players would have been winning scores that day.”
Jackie Ireland finished in second spot with a fine 41 while Marian Keating was third on 38 points. But they were left in awe of McBrearty’s flawless display.
