JASON QUIGLEY HAS been back mixing it with the stars this week.

The Ballybofey boxer, who is gearing up for his 10th professional fight on March 25 at Fantasy Springs in Indio, bumped into former Liverpool captain and LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard.

Quigley and Gerrard were at a press conference for the upcoming bout between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Amir Khan at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 7.

Quigley could feature on that card, with Golden Boy Promotions keen for their man to be in on the action.

Alvarez captured the middleweight world championship with a unanimous decision over Miguel Cotto in November at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Khan made his name at lightweight and is moving to fight for Alvarez’s middleweight belt and the WBC has sanctioned a 155lbs limit – five pounds under the statutory maximum.

Canelo and Khan are on a tour to promote the fight. One of their stops was at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood, where Quigley and Gerrard were among the eager attendance.

Also this week, Irish actress and model Hannah Rose was among Quigley’s training partners at the IRON gym. She was put through her paces by Sheer Sports Management trainer and former heavyweight contender Courage Tshabalala.
