Finn Valley AC headed north on Sunday having amassed a very encouraging medal tally from national Novice and Uneven National Cross-Country.
Medals for under-11 boys and girls teams, the colour silver, and under-19 boys always positive when your club is competitive at this age division.
There were additional medals for Sarah Bradley, Aoife McGrath and Oisin Toye.Â
At the end of a busy day the mens novice squad just missed medals by 5 points but as members of the Donegal team placed 3rd behind Dublin and Cork scorers Dermot McElchar Oisin O’Gaillin, Seamus O’Donnell, Shane Gallagher and Mark McPaulÂ
Thus ends the pre Christmas cross-country programme on this occasion 26 athletes medalled a boost at this time.
Next up is the Stephens Day annual 5k at 12 noon – the longest existing road race in the North West attracting young and old with a festive flair an opportunity to join join in with family and friends and get out and about in the fresh air.Â
