ON THE MORNING of Saturday, March 5, The Race will roll out of Gartan Outdoor Education Training Centre.
It’s the third staging of Ireland’s first 24-hour endurance event where competitors run, kayak, cycle and dart up and down Muckish Mountain.
The Race was a concept derived by David Burns and Maghnus Collins, with the former, who is director of The Race, joining Alan Foley in studio to discuss the event with Letterkenny native Sean McFadden – the winner of last year’s event.
Ursula McPherson, director of Gartan OETC, also speaks about what the event means to Donegal.
